Andres Aquino Andres Aquino

Mr. Aquino's long trajectory of artistic endeavors has taken him from theaterdirecting and writing to show production and fashion design. His collections havebeen featured in TV shows and magazines in Europe,Asia and North and SouthAmerica, and he has shown his designs on the Couture Fashion Week runways forseveral years.

The collection is inspired by the beauty of different regions and cities of the world and is a tribute to the inner and outer beauty of women around the globe. The collection is also a complement to Mr. Aquino's upcoming book of poetry whosemajor theme is the continuing journey in the endless pursuit of beauty as his muse.

 

Monica Paracha Monica Paracha

Company runs workshop specializing in designing, pattern making, cutting andstitching; a section caters for hand embroidery and embellishments. Steeped ineastern tradition but regular exposure to the London city and its Fashion trends have inspired Monica to create fusion outfits and accessories.

She uses traditional hand embroidery techniques developed over centuries in theSub-Continent; however her cuts and designs cater to trendy market. She works mostly with imported fabrics and other raw materials like crystals and sworoski.Monica is currently based in Pakistan. She has lived in Middle East and traveled toEurope. She started her own label in 2003.

She has exhibited on the ramp at Pakistan festival in Washington DC. Fashion show at Alexandra palace in July 08 London. Showcased the only Pakistani Designer in International Asian business awards in Birmingham November 08. Exhibited at Asian bridal show Manchester in feb09. Showcased only Pakistani couture designer at Bahrain Fashion week09/10 May 09.The recent show in The Valmont Club, Chelsea, London 13th August 09.

 

Catalin Botezatu Catalin Botezatu

Catalin Botezatu is one of Romania's most important fashion designers. He launched his career in 1992 and established his own fashion house in 1996. He is one of the few major fashion designers who directs and styles his own shows and makes all his accessories. His distinguished clientele includes politicians, socialites, VIPs, entertainers and celebrities. Nevertheless, his beautiful haute couture designs have a strong appeal for every woman looking to bring out her femme fatale side through sensual, refined and sophisticated gowns.

Catalin Botezatu's distinctive couture collections have been presented worldwide and have been recognized with many international awards. He has been named "Designer of the Year" six years in a row by VIP Magazine (Romania), and has twice been presented with the "Award for Excellence in Fashion" by Fashion TV Romania, in addition to numerous other fashion awards around the world.

 

Walid Attalah Walid Attalah

Atallah, a high-profile Lebanese fashion designer who has made Dubai his home for the past 11 years, remains one of the most enduring figures in the region's fashion scene. As an active supporter of Dubai Fashion Week, he has commandeered his productions to blend Lebanese design heritage with the opulence of European fashion that has been the benchmark of luxury for decades.

Atallah counts among his clientele Arabian royalty and Middle Eastern celebrities, who flock to his shows for the best of haute couture. His exquisite pieces combine ethnic influence with modernity and the result is breathtaking.

 

Mustafa Hassan Ali Mustafa Hassan Ali

Designer Mustafa Hassanali, a celebrated name in Tanzania pursues fashion as a religion. His personable and affable demeanour in parallel with his bohemian work of art has made him amidst the premier and popular designers in Tanzania. No wonder then he sports an A-list clientele including the crème de la crème of the society. Considered a fashion guru, his designs reflect the deeply embedded cultural heritage of Tanzanian society along with the avant-garde, hip and contemporary styles.
Hassanali’s zest for fashion is not only limited at fostering his own collections and offering something new to his target audience, but he also believes in the enhancement of the Tanzanian Fashion Industry on the whole. He recently launched the first ever Swahili Fashion Week and as the holder of this event he has created a promising platform not only for established designers and models but for aspiring entrants of this avenue. Mustafa constantly strives at doing something new and beyond and the Swahili Fashion Week proved to be just that, creating a new standard and now perceived as the most sought after fashion event in the country.

- "little Black Dress” 2006-2007 ( in collaboration with "Honigman") design the perfect, ultimate, classic, black dress.
- Bags 2007 (in collaboration with "Castro") – Leather Design.
- Jewelry and cloth 2007 design in collaboration with the Shenkar Jewelry Department.

- Fashion design for the "Career Woman" 2007-2008 Design for a specific customer from the business world. Using techniques of cloths coloring and foil printing, transparent and opaque Paste, printing by burning, all over and placement.

Banchong Douangphrachanh Banchong Douangphrachanh
Presented her menswear line, also known as the Regetta Line, at 2010’s Seattle Fashion Week. The designer has experienced national exposure with some of her work featured in Lady Gaga’s “Poker Face” video and the designer again made waves in Seattle with her thoughtful and solid runway show.
Born in Vientaine, Laos in 1977, Banchong Douangphrachanh has lived in Seattle since 1984. As a young child, she was a refugee from the Lao People’s Democratic Republic and has made her adoptive country her new home.

 

Edward Arsouni Edward Arsouni
Edward Arsouni has become the epitome of romantic and feminine fashion. His company produces luxury haute couture and prêt-a-port for women in his ateliers that are located in Italy and Lebanon.
Arsouni’s portfolio comprises of several fashion shows that he presented in Europe as well as Lebanon.
Today, the Lebanese designer from Zahle is back to present his latest collection in Lebanon inspired by every trendy women and created to satisfy Arab women’s passion for elegant fashion. The Arsouni brand stands out as one of the luxurious couture houses in Lebanon and the Arab world and he wishes to extensively expand in Europe in the future.

 

Haya Al-Houtit Haya Al-Houtit
Haya Al- Houti Haute Couture is a unique fashion spirit, emerging from the Middle East. Proud to have been the only Haute Couture designer from Kuwait, to have participated in the USA International Fashion Week, in February 07 in New York. Her designs simply stunning those in attendance, Consolidating her status as the most prominent designer ever to come out of Kuwait. Rising so rapidly with in a few short years. HAYA AL HOUTI creations are worn and admired by Royal dignitaries, Diplomats and Socialites.

 

Sushma Patel Sushma Patel
After her studies at the Fashion Institute of Technology, Sushma Patel went on to show her first collection in her native India in 1998. Since then she has done fashion shows at a number of events across the USA including the Bollywood Fashion & Music Awards in 2006 and 2007. She has also presented her designs at Caribbean Fashion Week in Jamaica and at the Fashion TV Summer Festival in Romania.
Ms. Patel's designs are a unique and stunning Indo-Western fusion. They are characterized by impeccable craftsmanship and quality and an innovative approach to cut, draping and the use of opulent fabrics such as jorjut, sufan, kangiwaram and various silks. Unforgettable designs are embellished with hand embroidery and crystals. Ms. Patel is one of the few prominent designers in India to incorporate traditional embroidery, fabric printing and weaving crafts into her thoroughly contemporary creations.
Sushma Patel's designs are meticulously handcrafted in India and sold at her own boutiques in Atlanta, in the United States and in Mumbai, India, as well as at a number of upscale boutiques in India and other countries. Her goal is to achieve international recognition as a cosmopolitan designer appealing to a wide spectrum of consumers. She has a loyal and growing clientele around the world including a number of prominent film stars.

Hadi Katra is a great fashion designer from Lebanon, his wedding collection of bridal dresses are amazing.Elegance, style, a touch of originality and spring freshness underline this bridal collection by designer Hadi Katra.Born from an unlimited imagination, and a great love for fashion, hundreds of sketches are created to pay homage to the bride, the source of inspiration, and romance.Hadi Katra’s complete collections of the glamorous ready-to-wear, trendy corsets and stylish tops are also displayed at boutique Roblanche.

 

Siddhartha Agicha Siddhartha Agicha

Designer Sidhartha Agicha, who specialises in western wear, is a known name in the South-Asia fashion circuit and now with his venture in his own country, the designer aims at making a mark in the Indian fashion circuit soon.

Talk about glamour, glitz and grandeur or put them altogether and say - 'Sidhartha Agicha' - a label that specialises in western couture. After his successful stint in the South-Asian fashion markets of HongKong and Shanghai with his western couture Sidhartha now plans to enter into Indian fashion circuit with his designs.

Sidhartha's high-end western gowns have been a part of shows by Orra Diamonds and Talwarsons Jewellers last season, where top models and actresses like Malaika Arora Khan and Esha Deol wore the gowns as show stoppers.
He derives inspirations from Calvin Klien and Donatella Versace, and looks forward to creating special designs for Katrina Kaif when it comes to our Indian beauties.
